I thought it was a good movie for what it was...a new movie. I think that people that have seen the old version of movies have a different expectation when a new version comes out and therefore it distorts what they see now. A new remake of any old movie will never hold the same expectations. If we go to see a new movie such as the Omen we should accept for what it is and not necessarily do so much comparing to the original. Times were different then and so was the way movies were made.

I actually liked it. I do think the original version is better, but I did enjoy the new version. I originally thught I'd hate it, since I reaaaaally loved the original version when it came out (I was a little kid), but the new one did surprise me. In my opinion it is a good movie.

Dire. Why do they bother remaking films because the majority of the remakes are rubbish. The money they spend on the remakes would be better spent on new original films.

It was so funny... I once saw the Omen with a communist Chinese, long ago... and he said what a ditzy movie, what is it about? He'd never read a bible and didn't understand why so many people thought it scary.... LOL

It was not as scary as the original. The music, a major component of the original, was unmemorable. Julia Stiles was miscast.

The first one scared me so bad I won't go see this one but I hear it's terrible.
