our one day sqaud is no:1 in now a days.batting and bowling both we are in good.batmans also playvery well.bowlers alsoplay as a no:1bats in last 10overs .but kumble play test very well as a bowlerand batsman .so he play very defensively.he is in fit

There are basically two reasons behind this. First, Kumble although a very gud bowler bowls at an almost medium speed (100-105 kmph) and basically depends on the the close in fielding and the pressure for the wickets. However, in 1-dayers close-in fielding is not possible which works as a disadvantage for him.
Secondly, his fielding was never great even in his initial years, so that also is a big minus for him along with the ever declining batting ability.

He must & should play the ODI's instead of Powar.He has been dropped mainly because he is a South Indian.The selectors[Rascals] don't want the South Indians to enter the International cricket.A few years ago,there were almost 6 to 8 players from Karnataka in the playing 11 itself.

Kumble has been out of the ODI squad not of poor form.It is because of the indian politics.He is a superb ODI player.Recently during SRI LANKA`s tour of INDIA,he played superb.He still has a lot of talent in him.Once his talent is seen by the selectors,he will probably be the best spinner.

He has played lots of ODI but proved to be very expensive and ineffective in the past. With recent form he should be playing one day again. Indian selectors unfortunately have ignored him.

its like Srinath! he got murdered in ODI cuz he was too predictable... same is with Kumble... he is too predictable and doesn't have any special stuff to counter a batsman in attacking mode...
plus he is near the end of his career... i believe that he should retire with honor rather than being disgracefully left out by the selectors and fade out..

HE CONCENTRATE IN TESTS NOW.
PLANNED TO AQUIRE MOST WICKETS AS AN INDIAN IN TESTS.
ODI BOWLING WILL AFFECT HIS RHYTHM.
