YM suddenly stopped working. It just hangs in the opening panel. Other websites including yahoo mail are working. MSN messenger too working.

don't worry, it seems to be happening to everyone today, the server must be busy. mine took ages to load. and it finally did.

Servers are down.. just give it a little while and try again. Just look at some of the other questions. Alot of people are having problems today.

you might have missing or corrupt files,
if possible see if you can remove this in control panel > add/remove
and then re-install it
(if you are not able to unistall it just re-install it to the
directory where the one you have is)

Corrupt install, viruse, spyware, scan your PC, uninstall y! messenger and try re installing it.
