Because democrats generally want minorities to become wards of the state. Collect government benefits, and entitlements. They can't bear to see a minority become successful. Notice how they turn on them when they do?
Conservatives want minorities to be successful contributing members of society.

Because the conservatives do not believe in policy to 'make up for' things of the past. Democrats think the way to fix past problems of unfair treatment, is to treat others unfairly. When conservatives say minorities should not be given more than anyone else, the democrats play the race card.
Equal treatment, means just that. Everyone is treated equally. You can't punish someone today for someone elses deads of yesterday. If you do, the cycle will never end.

Because when you believe, religiously, that your side is the only correct side, and the other side still disagrees with your beliefs, it can only be because they are stupid or evil.
So if you think that affirmative action is bad, or diversity quotas are bad, or that blacks are capable of competing with everybody else and don't need lower standards, etc, then you must be evil and racist.
Their true belief in their liberal religion does not allow for the possibility that affirmative action is a crutch and is divisive, that diversity quotas are divisive and racist, or that lowering standards for blacks is demeaning, patronizing, divisive and is the bigotry of low expectations.
Remember, and never forget, it is the Democrat party that gave us the Confederacy, the KKK, Jim Crow, segregation and Sheriff Bull Connor. And that it was Democrats, like Al Gore's father, who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. And that it was a Democrat governor who flew the Confederate flag over the state capital.

The Democrat Party is devoid of substantive ideas. So when you've got NOTHING, all you can do is try to diminish the other guy. That's what Democrats do: insult and demean.
This tactic worked well for the Democrats in the past, when there was no internet, and only three television companies.
But now that there are alternate sources of information, and the general population is more educated and sophisticated, it doesn't work that well anymore.

Because it is easier to hate when you have a reason, even if you have to make it up. Dimocrats (misspelled on purpose) have to corner the market on caring and, at the same time, hate. It's a real paradox. They portray themselves as the champions of the underdog, the voice of the poor and downtrodden, the saviors of the underclass...and yet they preach as much hatred (and sometimes more) towards non-Dimocrats as they say non-Dimocrats do.
The main reason, I believe, for the racism tag is that Dimocrats try to use fear and scare tactics to encourage citizens to vote for them. By accusing the opposition of racial discrimination, gender bias, wealth discrimination, etc., Dimocrats can throw up enough of a smoke screen to mask the fact that not one bit of what they are claiming is true, and also convince voters that a vote for their opponent will "hurt" them in some way. They have done it with minorities, they have done it with the elderly, and they have tried to do it with women.
What it all comes down to in the end, my friend, is power. Both sides want it and they have tried and true methods of keeping it.
I'd rather try to see people instead of parties because I can work with people.

Why do conservatives belief that Democrats are baby-killing homos?
People who stereotype Republicans are just as bad as the Republicans that are biggoted racists. I tend to live in the real world, where everyone is different--and no one fits into a little category.

Remember liberals believe that Conservatives are raciest but minorities could not make it without government handouts.
It is a crutch for their weak policy.

back - MLK SR. turned right into a republican no longer MLK JR. and DID change to the democratic social gathering balloting for Kennedy and later became also a tremendous supporter of Jimmy Carter. The KKK began with severe excellent-wingers, yet politicians from both activities were time-honored to be contributors.

Because one Conservatives behavior speaks for the rest of the party's behavior. Too many conservatives come off as bigots or misogynists, so if some behave that way, then all behave that way.

Conservative politicians have a history of bigotry.
Some of the members of the party don't help this.
Not everyone of course, not all liberals are tree-hugging hippies either.
But the lunatic fringe is always the loudest.
