I have a title of nobility.
I am the Lady of my Clan.
It was declared that I was the heir the day I was born and I inherited full right when I turned seventeen.
It was pretty and dreamy for about ten minutes, then reality kicked in.
I am responsible for the well being of all the members of my clan and those we've sworn to protect. They ask me permission to marry, to have children. They ask me what to do with an out of control family member or should they pull the plug on a loved one with no hope.
When a son can't afford to go to college, they expect me to be able to find the money. When we lose a man to war, I am expected to fend for his children.
They blame me for not ordering our warriors to abandon the military life when so many of us have died already.

if I had a choice, would I want to be the Lady of my Clan?
No, I would not choose this life.
But I am, and it is my honor, my love, and my life for my Clan... gladly and proudly.

Funny how those who have not, wish they had.
And those of us that have, wished we hadn't.

Some people are so insecure and immature they need something to make them feel confident.
We are all people, none should need to be a Nobility.
Work hard achieve success and you will have self esteem
To be born into it is ridiculous and stupid.
Most princes, are never as good as the king that spawned them.

No.

If all men are 'created' equal, being descendant from 'royalty' means your ancestors were aggressive, hegemonic, egotistical self-centered and greedy.

I have no desire to be like that.
