it's not because of your proxy service and port numbers...
Yahoo is having problems....

don't worry it will connect.....at times due to server problems it happens..
coming to proxy servers and port numbers messenger don't display it and also changes from country to country

most of yahoo networks is having problem now.
don't worry, i still having problems with most of yahoo services, like IM and mail.
