while i'm typing it will either move up or down and i cannot move it from where it is.

Go into your control panel and recallibrate (reset) your mouse settings.

I kind of had that problem in a 5 years old computer.
I bought a new computer.
You could try cleaning inside the mouse, and deleting then re-installing the software
or you could buy a new mouse with new software.
other than that I don't know.

you may need a new mouse but check your mouse settings in control panel first there might be something configured that is making it act weird

i m sure that u r using the optical mouse. the only way out is to change ur mouse.

May be your mouise pad is not staight , i mean it can be parallel to floor to keep it not moving while you are typing ...

Restart your computer, that should fix it. It's probably just blocked.
