Yes. And I never thought I'd say that when I was young. I was all about the future and its advancements, but now I can see it in perspective. Even in my short 40 years on this planet, the changes I've seen come about from technology are astounding. When I was a kid, there were no such things as cell phones, TV was three channels (in my case-- black and white), and a "computer" was something mad scientists used in science fiction movies to take over the world. I have to say-- everything is different-- nothing is really any better. People wander around aimlessly talking about nothing on their cell phones while nearly causing accidents. There are about 1000 channels now-- every one of which airing the same mindless crap and commercialism. Computers, while helping us get things done faster, have so elevated productivity expectations that our work loads have only INCRESED. Sure, the casherire can ring up a cart of groceries in a quarter of the time now, so what do they do? Close down four of the five open check out aisles. Things are different-- not better in the grand scheme of things. There are improvements but I think the price usually offsets them.

I can't think of living in the past, I would not have what we have today. But, I guess if you didn't know about it you would be fine without have all this new technology.

read this turn off your system and think, "if it ain't fun don't do it" and then go and spend a few days on the beach contemplating who knew to put all the sand right next to the sea. If you say "I can't" you're just making excuses; retake control of your life, it's easy.................
