A number of people have said that Ben Stein is one of the smartest people they have met.
If you ever saw the game show in which people were trying to match wits with him, he was actually answering all the quesitons on his own; no help. Word is that the producers saw a drop in popularity because he so rarely got an answer wrong.
Of course, not too many people have had their own TV show, done movies, voiceovers, worked as a journalist AND been an advisor to a US President.
