unlock code is set by the user of the phone...u have stolen this phone...sorry

Ignore the above d00b, he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Every phone needs a unique unlock code. Google "unlock D600" to find a site that can help. Typically it costs around $25.00. Don't use the UK based sites unless you're in the UK with a UK phone, most of them can't properly unlock US based phones.
Moto tripletts (Vxxx series, but NOT the Razr) can be unlocked at home for no cost. Samsungs can't be done that way to the best of my knowledge.
