Superstition evolved from a lack of education.
Have you ever been to a mirror factory? They have large skips where they throw all the imperfect mirrors into. If each mirror gave seven years bad luck when broken, how is it the companies are still thriving, the employees still earn a good wage(relative, I admit!)and they do not all succumb to terrible luck!? By your reasoning, they would have thousands of years of misfortune!

The only 'bad luck' you'll get, hon, is having to clear up more mess!
(if you are young, that's cool, but if you are over 16, you really should know better...)

It means that you have reversed the 7 years bad luck it is suppose to have given you, if you did break the already broken mirror within the 7 minute time frame.

Hello, ragdollfloozie. That...that is a funny question and I hate to report that if there was ever a broken mirror and someone smashed it again then, you or whoever would have a BIG glassy mess to sweep up! I think more people should consider silly questions more often because it brightens my day. (Not saying that your question was silly but I answered one just now that WAS somewhat silly!!) I'm sorry if I cannot help you at all ragdollfloozie, I hope if I have not answered your question then you find what you're looking for.

Depends on if you are asking from a superstitious standpoint or not. Even from a superstitious view, I would say nothing as the damage is done already. I would however take precautions to avoid being cut in cleaning up such a mess!

You get either 49 or 14 years of bad luck.

If you brake a mirror you'll have a 1000 years curse. If you'll break the pieces you'll have a 2000 years curse.

Depends on what you believe. If you believe it will give you bad luck it probably will. If you believe it will make a mess than you're also right.

I'm sure it was a myth to keep kids or people from breaking them in the past. They were rare for a while and only wealthy people had them. Don't be hard on yourself and don't get cut.

nothing.
if u believe in superstitions, try to get it out of your life. its really not worth it and its kinda like a fraud they want everyone to believe. and ofcourse, sweep the floor.

Everyone's saying it the literal way, not the luck way which i dont believe
