It is physically impossible to have signs of pregnancy more than a week before your period is due. A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (typically 12-16 days) before her *next* period. (It is totally irrelevant how long it's been since your previous period--whether it's a week and a half or many months!!) If fertilization occurs, it takes at least about a week for the fertilized egg to make it to the uterus to start implanting. Until implantation, the fertilized egg isn't attached to your body in any way, so it can't cause physical changes. So, in one sense, you *aren't* pregnant yet because there is no fetus attached to you.

What do you mean by you temp "started high"? Are you checking your basal body temperature (temp before you get out of bed in the morning or do anything)? If so, then you probably ovulated 6 days ago. If you had sex one week ago, that was probably the perfect timing. A day or two before that would have also been likely to result in conception.

Good luck!!

A blood test would show you are pregnant now if you are cause hcg levels are picked up in your blood 6 days after conception.

If you buy things off of the net there is a place on here that sells very sensitive pregnancy tests that claim to show you are pregnant 6-8 days after conception at http://www.pregnancytests.com

If you want to see how soon you can test by using home pregnancy tests that you buy out like at wal-mart or whereever go to http://www.peeonastick.com

Good luck

I always get signs almost from the day i am pregnant. Are your breast sore? That and being tired were always my first clue! There could be other reasons to feel this way to stress (if you don't want to be preg) wishful thinking (if you do want to be preg) or as someone said lack of iron.

Good Luck let us know how it comes out.
