What kind of skin tones do you have?
Okay, well people with brown eyes can wear a lot of different colors because a lot of things go nicely with them. You'll look good with a smoky gray, navy blue, and lilac colors. You can also wear gold shimmery shades and as some others suggested, greens will work well too, as will peach. You're lucky because you'll be able to get away with darker shades too, to go in your crease.

Lavender and pinks will make your eyes pop.
While browns, and bronze will intensify them.
A gray w/ green undertones ( if this makes since) will make your eyes beautiful for night.
For everyday: I would sweep a white, cream, or gold across the whole lid.
Add a dark brown to the crease and a v shape on your lid.
Then come back w/ any color to put just in the middle of your crease.
Line w/a colored eyeliner.
Brown eyes are very versatile, and works w/ a lot of shades.
My favorite is a shade of blue, with a lt.bluish silver eyeliner,, I will get a lot of compliments while wearing those shade together,,even a gray works!

I have dark brown eyes and I find that lavendar, plum, periwinkle & deep blue look great. Also burnished coppers and golds.
I also wear neutrals (beige, brown, taupe, khaki)- which look nice, but not as complimentary to my eye color.
Also- do a smokey eye w/greays and dust some plum or lavendar in the crease- looks awesome!

Since you have brown eyes, most colours would suit you.
Be aware that there are different shades of one main colour, you could experiment as well. and rememeber to choose an eyeshadow that compliments your skin colour.
Brown,Cappucino,Hazel,Blue,Dark-green etc

This might sound weird, but a dark blue (navy) eyeliner and maybe a lighter shade of blue eyeshadow. Works like magic for me.

a light purple with dark brown in the crease, and a light beige on the top. I use Almay's kit for brown eyes.

you can use anything that isn't too bright...how lucky you are to have deep brown eyes....lavender is good and so is a nice plum...and green is really in this season, and you may combine the two....use light green on the lid and contour with either darker green or a plum and line with plum...and use green mascara or plum on your lashes to add interest...

anything with a purple tint brings out the brown. but you can wear almost any muted color if you have dark brown eyes and will always look good.
