After listening to years of whining "I can't wait to turn 18, I'll be so out of here! (explicatives)" Well 18 came & went, and they realized life costs money, and it's so much more cost effective to keep having the parents pay their upkeep...won't leave...wont contribute to the household...one doesn't work or anything, still professional full-time video gamer...oy.

I personally think kids r too young to leave the house when they are 18-20. I am 25 and my parents have never told me to leave their house. But I do have a good job, though I don't pay rent or something like that. If you ask a kid to pay you cause he stays in your house, then how do you want him to save some money for affording leaving apart? Tell your kid to move his *** and find a good job and tell him "I am not asking you to bring money in the house with one condition: I wanna see your bank account getting bigger month by month. Otherwise, I'll ask you to help with the house bills." You should support him and encourage him to work, have his own savings, don't just kick him out cause he turned 18. You should have mean more responsable when you decided to have this kid, as parents should look after their children until they r settled in life. Be more severe if this helps, help him to get a job, keep the computer in your room and let him use it only 2-3 hrs a day and once you go to work, lock your room. In time his addiction to computer will slow down. Good luck!

Give them so much chores. be creative, make them do as many pointless task everyday such as clean grout with toothbrush, make them polish the door knob, make them wax the floor, make them pick the carpet lints up, make them cut the grass with sicross (tell them the lawn mower don't cut them even enough), Make them clean whole set of dishes and pans even if they're clean, and many other things. In end they will be miserable because they will be busy doing all stupid things from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed.
If this doesn't help after a few months, just wait until they go somewhere then gather all things in their room and leave it on the porch and change the lock to the door. Have phone ready to call the police.
It may sound curel but it seems like the only real way to get rid of them for good.

Tell them they must have jobs within 30days or a time to your liking.
Tell them after the X days, room and board is $25.00 a week until you have to be out of the house which is X Months, X = when you want.
In other words set dates and keep them. You meet the requirements or your out, your out period in X months.
Advise them to save there money for an apartment. Maybe all three could find one to rent together or a reasonable house to rent. Help them find one. Help them get settled. If they ask for advice, give it.

I would sit them down and explain to them now that they are (18,19...) and no longer in school that your responsibility has ended to raise them and they are now adults and must learn to become adults. If they wish to remain living at home, they must pay for room and board, take care of purchasing/cooking their own food, purchasing their own clothes and cleaning them as well as whatever other things they want. Sit them down and go over financial responsibility. Show them what their monthly budget will be with the pay that they are receiving. If in your case they are not working show them the options, either they get a job and pay you room and board or pay to live somewhere else on their own, or you will take them down to a shelter where they won't have the luxury of playing video games.

tell them you want them to stay - then go into their room and sit down and gab with them and when they have a friend over assume their your friend too. say how lucky you are that he will take care of you when you get older.
Tell them you will be taking $50. a day off on your will for everyday spent at home after the age of 21.

And what are you , pray, doing about it? Letting them stay.?
So whose fault is it? And why are you whining about it?
Goodness Man, get a backbone, give them the old heave-ho, give them 30 days to get a job, after that they have to go find a place to live..

Move. Don't tell them where you're going... HEY!! The above is before I read your details........YOU are the ones who let them get away with it. You're not teaching them. The real world doesn't let you live for free.....But you are.
