I would suggest nice thin black dance pants with a burgundy or black leotard uner. On top, but a crop top with a knot in the middle with either a ballet dancer picture on it. I always wear this and its sexy, slimming, and gracious in a way.
You could aslo wear a leotard with no shirt, then a small skirt that is either black or burgundy too cuz bright colors look funny on dark leotards...then wear leg warmers or very bulky warmers that are from the ankle to quite unde the knee.
Another thing would be a tight enough t-shirt, very thin black dance pants under and then a bulky other dance pants that is very loose and goes up to a bit under the knee.
Those things could be used for your theme but also get the boys in the dance to wear black pants with tight, dance made shirts. Women wear work like clothes like going to work but make them flexible for dance.
