Forrest Gump - just incredible the way the director tied this character into so many nationally (and worldly) recognized events, plus one of my favorite soundtracks.
Braveheart - I read a review elsewhere complaining that Mel Gibson was too old for this role, historically speaking. I don't care. He was heroic, which is what the role called for, movie-wise.
Saving Private Ryan - A bit too gory for some, but such is the nature of war (there are hardly any 'Nam movies out there that have a GOOD depiction of what it was really like). A dynamite cast, and a movie that kept your interest, even when the action was at a minimum.

1. "Moonstruck" a wonderful romantic/comedy. Olivia Dukakis stole the show: "Do you love him, Loretta?" "Ma, I love him terrible." " AHHH, that's too bad." Every time she opened her mouth, it was classic. TRUELY. Nicholas Cage's eyes, when he looks up with huge, sad, innocent eyes as he's having his first conversation with Loretta, down where the bread is baked. The entire movie is beautiful and a MUST SEE.
2. "Crimes And Misdemeanors" I think it is this particular Woody Allen film. He's talking to his parents, asking about God and Nazis. His father says: "How the hell do I know why there were Nazis. I can't even figure out how the toaster works!" Most of Woody Allen's films have hysterical moments in them. "Manhattan Murder Mystery" is very good, as well.
3. "Tootsie" Every man that I know who saw it missed the entire point of the film. One of my friend's said that he didn't want to see a man in drag. That is SO not the crux of the movie. Bill Murray was VERY funny and so was the guy who protrayed the actor on the Soap that liked to kiss all the female costars. He falls for Dustin Hoffman(Tootsie) and follows him home. Bill Murray's lines are a riot. Good question. Thanks for asking.

dawn of the dead (george romero) - romero is a genius. he makes zombie films not because he wants gore all over the place but to be able to make a statement - the implications, the consequences, and possible options...
jaws - this is the best jaws film of the series, and arguably the best shark film ever made.
nightmare on elm street - this is the ultimate nightmare. i only loved the nightmare movies where wes craven was involved. the first one is the best.
i'm a horror fan and i still got a lot of favorites but i guess, these are of the highest ranks among all of them.

Finding Nemo - coz it's so cute and funny and really easy to watch at any time, over and over again - I love the baby turtle - Dude!
You've got Mail - Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. Not sure why but I can watch it over and over again and it doesn't bore me, love Meg Ryan in anything.
