im not sure what your asking here because hamann is a defensive midfielder and bellamy is a forward so to say replace him i think the answer is no because they play in different postions to each other ..but if you mean will he be worth the money then the answer is yes because he is a proven PREMIERSHIP striker and thats what we need not some player who has had a good world cup but has never played in the premiership. and also im really looking forward to seeing gonzalez because i have liked what ive seen so far.

Bellamy is a striker and dieter hamann is a defensive midfielder. Bellamy would be an ideal replacement for Cisse or Morientes. Tons of pace.

yes he can i think hamann is now old. I hope the reds will have a better season this year. we need to get rid of cisse. he is the biggest donkey going.
