Hi. I'm on day 3 of my period and day 2 of taking 100mg clomid. When will I ovulate & when should i have sex?

Looks like you should expect ovulation between June 30th and July 4th according to the ovulation calendar below (I personally think that July 3rd is probably your most fertile day). I would get a ovulation kit for those days to be sure, since the clomid can start you early you might want to get the 21 day kit, I swear by them. You start the first day after your period and test each day until you get your period again, I found mine in Walgreens and got pregnant the first month using it.

I would start having fun around June 28th because sperm can live for up to seven days by the time they get to your fallopian tubes. Make it a marathon week, being the week of 4th of July, there certainly is room for the old "rockets" image like in the Brady Bunch :) LOL.

It usually takes anywhere from 5-14 days after your last pill. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that you ovulate on Clomid. I was on Clomid 50mg and 100mg and never ovulated. The funny thing is that I've ovulated on my own in the past but for some reason the follicles weren't growing on Clomid. Maybe ask your doc to monitor you via ultrasound during cd10-15. This way they can measure your follicles and pinpoint ovulation. Edit: Did you take the last pill on Jan 5th or Feb 5th?

Start having sex as from tomorrow (3rd day of taking clomid)and every 2 days thereafter until the 19th day of your period,then u can take a break,and wait and pray to be preg. Sperm can live up to 72hrs in you,besides if you have sex every day,you'll only wicken your partners sperm count.Try the ovulation calculator and see what date it gives you,have sex on that day but dont rely 100% onthat day alone cos your ovulation may fall on a different day,the ovulation calculator does not have your menstrual history,besides our bodies are not 100% predictive.My best advice is have sex ever 48hrs,put a pillow under your waist to keep the sperm in,relax there for at least 15Min's before you get up and avoid anything tedious.Good luck

Im doing the same at the moment, Chlomid stimulates ovulation straight away therefore you should be having sex a minimum of every 2 - 3 days throughout the whole month and if you havent got your period by day 30 do a pregnancy test. If its negative wait 5 days then start chlomid again, but keep having sex as often as possible. Hope this helps.

Let me guide you with my wif's record. She started on a monday [say 1st] and did scan on the 10th day, 12th day with no sign of egg. Dr. insisted she go for another test on 14th- 2nd monday after period day. She saw her period at abt 10am on that monday [1st] and she co incidentally went for scan at abt.10am minday 14th. The egg was sighted and the pathologist or whatever recommend instant sex before she sees her dr.
Note that she saw a nucous like discharge on erly sunday 13th which realy alerted her.

i took clomid in febuary and started to have fun as soon as i was off my period once everyday even more if you want to and in march i missed period and i am now nearly 19 weeks pregnant it worked straight away for me good luck hope this will help you like it helped me :-)
