When do you usually start your period after you've taken the emergency contraceptive pill?

What the emergency contraceptive pill does is to prevent implantation if there was a chance of pregnancy...Yes you can get bleeding from this..it actually starts you period (so to speak) I used to take those same BCP's many years ago as a regular BCP (things have changed since then) I would get very nauseated and would occasionally get some breakthrough bleeding..hope this helps
