Laser Hair Removal is the only long term thing for permanent hair removal. It can be an expensive and painful process but worth it if you want to stop your problem completely. It involves using a laser to kill the root of the hair and after a while the hairs fall out and do not grow back.
Electrolysis may help but works better on finer hair.
I have found some UK sites for you to peruse, Harley Med. Group have the best rep.
Good luck with your quest for a hair free back ;o) and please do not go to just anyone to do this procedure as if done wrong can cause scarring.

Electrolysis is the only way to 'permanently' remove unwanted hairy bits. Epilation (whilst painful) will overtime reduce the regrowth of hairs to a fine downy hair that may not be so noticeable.

Dont worry about, let it grow, just get it trimmed sometimes so that it dosnt get too unruly. Although its not fashionable at the moment, hairy backs on guys are actually very masculine and only silly little girls dont like them. Proper women find it quite really pretty hot.

Why don't you ask your partner (if you have one) use her veet on your back to remove your hair. I work with a bloke who did that before he went on holiday and it was a while before it grew back
