Its very difficult nowadays to trust anyone. try not to focus mainly on trust when looking for a friend. take each day as it comes and don't expect too much. just have fun on the Internet and you will be surprised how one day you will find a good and trustworthy friend.
good luck

While it is possible to find friends on the internet, it can be hard because there are so many dishonest people out there. Just talk to people and don't call them 'your friend' right away. Once you get to know them, it will be ok. My best friends live in Kentucky, Australia and England and I have never met any of them (I do talk on the phone to the one in KY) and we have been friends for over 5 years so it definately is possible. Good luck!

ya you can find friends in yahoo chat!

but you will have to spend a lot of time in chat rooms before that person comes along. Youre gonna go through a lot of crazy people before you find someone that you really click with and are both willing to accept just a friendship.

if youre willing to spend the time and effort looking I think you could still find a friend.

don't trust anyone on the Internet. alot of people make themselves sound good, like you have a lot in common, then they'll want to meet you. don't fall for that crap...especially if your a child. you could end up getting hurt.
