i'm much shorter than u r , busy being a med student and i've succeeded in losing 20 pounds and keeping my new weight for almost a yr now! u have to reduce ur calorie intake, that doesn't mean crash dieting, it's all about choosing the right food, portion control, and making wise alternatives when it comes to eating out or snacking. excercise is equally imp, but since i've never had the time, i simply became more physically active, walking alot, running my errands on foot, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and it all helped.
some hints to get u started:
skimmed or low fat dairy instead of full fat
3-5 servings of fruit daily, 5-7 servings of vegetables
make sure ur carbs are whole grain, it's more satisfying, keeps u full for longer periods of time and ur intestines could use the fibers!
water, go crazy on that, i always take mine with ice and a slice of lemon or iced berries, it's just fancier that way!
always have sth to snack on incase u got hungry while going out let's say shopping, an apple, a cucumber, a whole grain cookie...
good luck and i'd be more than willing to help u if u've got more q's!

since your studying alot, exercise might not always be possible. For loosing weight though, thats a good start. Do cardio for 30 mins or more 3 times a week. Lifting weights will also help, considering muscle at rest still requires energy. Next step is to reduce your caloric intake. This can be done by changing the types and amount of food you ingest. Loosing weight in certain areas is impossible. It either stays on, or comes off.

Your physique mass index or BMI is on the low end of the conventional variety (18.9). Your weight is low, so do no longer attempt dropping to any extent further weight. in case you experience such as you have incredibly a abdomen, firming workouts will tighten it up. Crunches, yoga, or pilates are all stable

drink alot of water and avoid junk food. Try to eat healthy whenever you can. And excercise while you study. For example, after you study one section of a textbook, do 100 crunches.

immerse yourself in your studies for you seem to be quite an intelligent girl, walk a lot each day (1 hour) and avoid fatty food. I would suggest some simple exercises while on your back and that's all there is to it !!!
