Hi - it depends what system youre using.

For Yahoo / Hotmail, if you ask the PC to save your user ID and password then yes, she could have gone onto your PC, logged onto Yahoo / Hotmail, seen you have mail and checked it.

If you're using a PC with Lotus Notes, then she would need a password.

For PCs with Outlook, you dont need a password to use so always log out when youre not using. Also, check your 'delegates' and make sure she's not able to view your account from her screen. If you need more info on checking delegates, ask your nearest IT guy (I use Lotus and cant remember how to sue Outlook, sorry!) Hope this helps!

unless this person knew your email password ,it is impossible to access your email account, you should not leave your password lying about anywhere as if someone picks it up,this is a security breach and you would have to change your password
it is a good idea to change your password on a weekly basis, for example if your password was "computer"next week call it "computer 1"and so forth, even better why not create a fool proof system were you multiply the number each week so next week it would be "computer 2"and then the week after "computer 4",then 8,16,32 and so on,you could even multiply it by 3 to really confuse any prying eyes
good luck

If you have sign out from your email that would be impossible for that friend of yours to access your email. An email address would really need a password to get access to it.
it's possible if you leave the email account logged and someone uses your computer. if you asked your computer to remember your password, then the person can get to your emails.

Yes they can in 2 cases:
1 - if you leave the email account logged and someone uses your computer.
2 - if you asked your computer to remember your password, then the person can get to your emails.

you are able to take a horse to water yet you won't be able to make it drink. This one is going so deep that is easily a psychological difficulty, and deals with the way we develop into conscious of ourselves, the way we develop into conscious of human beings, and how we believe that human beings develop into conscious of us. those in 'authority' mangers, instructors, etc believe they comprehend a thanks to maximum proper serve their community through creating plans - a good number of the per classic values - then they foist them onto human beings. 'Oh no!' they cry at the same time as their project fails 'What went incorrect?'. human beings do no longer comprehend what absolutely everyone else is questioning; that is actual. We had this question on Yahoo a lengthy time period decrease back: someone idea that human beings were questioning about him and he grew to develop into self unsleeping. I suggested they were all more effective fearful what he seen them. (lengthy and winding i comprehend yet i'm no longer a author - I in simple terms write issues)
