An independent woman could be described as desirable.
Don't go looking for one though because they are all dependent either financially or emotionally.
Non of them are independent when their car breaks down.

Independent is the woman who is capable of making a living on her own and generally speaking, of relying on herself for everything she needs. Personally, I think it's nice to get dependent once in a while since too much independence can make your family, friends and boyfriend feel that you don't need them in your life. Self-reliance is great but, love and companionship are better!

Any person has the right to feel valued and that they are at liberty to add good and subtract bad in areas of their influence. Any person must also feel the power and liberty to exploit their potentials and get the feeling of satisfaction whilst at the same time sensing support and acknowledgement from those one holds in esteem. Real independence comes when you are able to make yourself and others feel valued by doing what you best know without unnecessary hinderances. Are you that woman?

An Independant woman, she has a good job, own home, car , rampant rabbit and sits on my face whether I want her to or not!

And independent woman is one who is self sufficient in all matters, personal and financial. She doesn't need anyone to support her financially, and she doesn't rely on others to make her happy.

Someone who can support herself,has her career,money car etc. Who doesn`t need anything from anyone except emotion and a relationship. But can live quite nicely if she doesnt have anyone.
