You're faced with a dilema of hating your job so much that the very thought of going to work each day is a chore. Your employer is a DUE WE CHEATEM AND HOW (attorney) and at this point the practices of lying and deception are just to the point it compromises what you believe in. He takes their trust monies, He doesn't refund their monies when it's due them. When the client's fire the firm he makes these unhappy clients come in for what he calls a close out meeting only to give the client false hopes of a possible refund! He demands that I create time so that there is no refund due. He's had numerous ARDC complaints only to have one of the firms lawyers bail him out with the legal jargon that they do. What on earth should I do? I need a JOB!!

You need the job so you'll either have to tollerate it or quit. Me? I would be looking for a new job and quit when I have a job.

Doesn't sound like he is going to be in business long. If you cant be honest about your job and your duties at work I would start looking for another place of employment. No job is worth being a liar and a cheat let alone that unhappy.

Use him to your advantage. Go job hunting descretly though. This kat sounds certifiable. If you need to ask him for a reference then do it with a Jedi Mind trick. Make him feel like he is doing you the favor of helping. Make him feel like he is bettering his popularity. Let him brag on you and boast to his colieges.
Make it a moving story or your husbands moving ro something slick and suave. Believe me a man like him is always into boosting his ego. He likes to have a big head for popularity. They don't pay attention to their own surroundings. I have faith in you. I believe you are a really smart and educated in the hard life oand can do this.
Email me. I think I might be able to help with more indepth and personal info on helping all the people that this "LAWYER" scandaled.

I do something I call a mass fax. Get your resume ready, look in the phone book for companies that you want to work for, call them to get their fax number (get like 40 companies, they may not be looking for help when you call, but that changes sometimes because they might be thinking about replacing someone) and fax away. Use your bosses fax machine for poetic Justice.

I would call your States attorney general and tell them everything. Quit your job after this is done so there are no suspitions on your part. You don't need to work for someone this crooked.

RUN do not walk to the nearest exit. You are the company you keep so if you stay when he goes down you go down.

I say you really get out of that job, and look for another one. That really isn't worth it. It wouldn't help to report him for what he is doing. That's just wrong.

look for another job as your probably well qualified and experinced. if he is as bad as you say he will get prosecuted and you will lose your job and anyy chance of a reference. if not your ref will be worthless(would you employ someone who worked for a crook).
