If there is no display then its more than likely a problem with your video card - if you've moved or replaced it, with memory sticks again if you've moved or replaced them or your monitor.
After you restart your PC, if nothing is appearing on the monitor, but you can hear the PC working, then its probably one of those. If you do get the monitor momentarily then you should be pressing the delete key to give you your BIOS options - if you can do this and see the screen then you can adjust the power details in there to stop hibernation.

Try a long press on your power on button if this won't help, you are probably experiencing a hardware problem. It has something to do with your SOUTHBRIDGE BGA. In simple terms, it is a hardware component that controls your power settings. You cannot resume from hibernation because it is already faulty. I suggest you send your laptop to your nearest Dell service center, they have a machine specially designed to replace BGA's. Technicians not related to Dell will find this problem, difficult to repair.
Hope this helps..

when you boot up press f8 until the safe mode screen appears
now you have 2 options now, either go for last known good configuration,in which it should return you to a working condition before this problem occured
or you can use safe mode and using power options in control panel, diagnose the problem there
you also get another option to use system restore,so if you can remember the date when this problem occured you can restore your p.c to a state were it was working o.k
good luck

as suggested previously. that is in ya administration panel.. contained in the potential bit, or the battery ingredient. u'll see an decision for potential affordable charges the placement you need to change it off or replace how lengthy it takes for instance off the video reveal / complicated drives / laptop etc.. also there's a putting for the potential turn on some machines so particularly of switching off it is going into hibernate.

I was going to suggest taking the battery out for 30 seconds and then turning it back on but the other suggestions will probably work better.

it's a notebook?
so disconect the battery and powercord for about 5 minutes.
it won't damage any thing and it's not bad to short circuite the connections power connections of battery on note book ( not on batter ) of course when it's completely unploged.
then reconect the notebook to power cord. and push the power bottom

Sounds like the best option left to you is to pull the power cable out of the back and put it back in to restart properly.
