trying to help a friend who has found out her husband has a secret female friend trying to see if he has cheated

he buys new cloths
starts wearing colone
his habits change
leave often with no explaintion
stays out later
find reciepts with purchases on it you never seen
hang up phone calls
wants to be alone alot.
starts a fight for any dumm reason just to have a reason to walk out the door
compares you to ??
he has sex with you less or not at all
day dreams alot
worries about his appearance more than he use too.
that should just about cover it. i know cause my man has put me threw it, time an time again.
i can always tell when something is up. good luck!!

Well, if his friend is a female and she is a secret, I think enough said. Not enough details here to really give pertinent advise other than the standard signs already mentioned. She is going to have to find a way to keep track of him completely to verify this, or she will never feel secure in the relationship again. I hate it when people cheat...Good luck

He may grow distant, and disconected. Not wanting to spend time with her or becoming agrivated when he's forced to. On the other hand he may grow closer as well, most times this is when feeling of regret are present but mostly look for change of habits. Is he buying new clothes that he didn't used to ware. dose he have a new hair style or come home later. These are some of the signs, for proof you need to have someone fallow him for a few days. Be it a frined that he dosen't know or a PI (PI would be the better choice because they are usually trained on survalence and most time's won't be detected).

You're putting yourself in a really bad situation.
Some people would say a "secret friend" is betrayal enough to amount to cheating.
I would say sneaking out to make a phone call, sneaking to the computer to "check email", suprise business trip, or absense from an expected place (like not at home at the time he typically is) ... strong signs he's making "time" for secret friend...
Is he cheating; my grandmother would say "I don't want to know...I just want to know that he loves me"
the old ignorance is bliss ideology.
I come from a Pandoras box mentality...if you're curious and you open the box - you might not like what you find

If she's a secret friend, he's cheated. Otherwise he'd have her out in the open and be including his wife in the friendship. If she needs proof, best bet is to folow him and see what's up. Monitor calls, credit card bills, excuses for not being home, and a new interest in his physical appearance. Best of all, look him in the eyes and confront him. She'll know.

Girlfriend, girlfriend I feel you!!! I had the same problem with my husband. After, I found out who this person was on my own I confronted him of course he just denied having an affair. He said that she was just and old customer. Do you believe him or not? How much do you value your relationship? I would suggest that you talk with him about how you feel. Don't accuse him of anything until you are sure. Start your own investigation to find out for yourself and then that way he cannot deny anything. If I knew you I would tell you my whole story and how it all came to an end. Me and my husband are still together and is about to celebrate 21 years of marriage. I'm assuming you're talking about your friends husband. Here is very important piece of advice: stay away from your friends's personal lives. Just be there for your friend when she needs you and that's all you can do. What ever you do, you can not interfere with other people's personal lives. That is a can of worms you don't want to open.

ignoring you, money being spent in the account that can't be accounted for. He is losing weight wanting to look better. Wearing Cologne when he didn't before. Working late. These are not always signs but if he is cheating look for sudden changes that isn't in his normal routine

Some men will not want to have sex with their partner anymore, others will want more sex, all messages deleted on his mobile 'phone, anonymous calls on the land-line, staying out late with poor or no explanation, emotional detachment eg. not wanting to have a conversation or talking continuously about himself or avoiding any eye contact, avoidance of long term issues such as having children, getting married or buying a house together.

Look at his cell phone bills see if there is a number that you dont know that has longer talk time than the rest see how he explains it.
Ask him if he's happy in the relationship..
