I'm a big fan of Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist and Evangelion. Currently watching Bleach which is good fun too.

Inuyasha is really good and so is Samurai Champloo. Violent and funny sometimes. Love Hina is just funny when you see Naru hit Keitaro. You also need to reed the Ruroken manga to see the Jinchu arc if you notice the bad ending at the end of the anime. It's because it did not end yet. Enishi is so cool and obsessed!

Well given the titles you listed there is a lot out there that would appeal to you. Such as Samurai Shampoo, Wolf's Rain, Elemental Gelade, you might even like Gunslinger Girl, though it's kinda slow. When you get tired of action ones you might check out Serial Experiments Lain.

i recommend Loveless, Fruits Basket, Gravitation, InuYasha, Eureka Seven, Naruto, One Piece, Paranoia Agent, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, Ghost In The Shell, Chobits, and Full Metal Panic.

i haven't seen chobits or full metal panic but my guy friends have and they said they are awsome.
