This is not the place to be looking for work, especially building and labouring work, because a high percenage of labour oriented workers are computer illiterate. The best place is therefore to contact employment agencies who represent primarily labour type employers in your area. This means having a good resume, work referees, police clearance and plenty of experience and / or education. The key word here is that everything provided must be "verifiable"! Without verification an employment agency can't sign off on a prospective employee and recommend placement, since they are legally liable as much as the employee.
Good luck.
