Yes. It happen to a lot of people. It's normally your subconscious that disturbs. When a situation you experienced with your ex reoccurs with your lover. Your reaction is always the same. Pray , that it doesn't happen when you are in bed. Oh blimey, you are done. Which means he or she is doing it just like your ex.

Well call it a brain fart. But I had gone out with a woman for like 6 months or so and one day we went to a party at a friends house. .. someone I knew came up to me and I wanted to introduce her. And I was like hey I want you to meet.. and I looked at her and for the life of me.. I couldn’t remember her name at ALL LOL I just blanked out. .. and she just looked at me shocked LOL and finally I just went. Err.. what’s your name again LOL . needless to say we didn’t go out much longer after that. Phew.

I must admit, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this.
I call my wife not with my ex's but with other names, like my cousins wife, or my mom, or my Gma, or daughter....
I guess she's pretty tolerent, cos she came to realize that I dn't mean to it's just that I'm sometimes clumsy with names....
have a nice day
;-)

hell yeah. it went like this. My girlfriend at the time (i'll call her samantha just in case she accidently read this) called me, after a bad night out.

her: hi, how are you?
me: um...hey...(thinking it was some other girl) how are Susan?
her: huh?
me: (still groggy) yeah. susan, wassup?
her: F you victor! susan! who the F is susan!!!????
me: (Oh damn.....think boy...think) haha just kiddin' babe. how are you (nervous as hell by this stage)
her: You are hanging out with that sl@t aren't you????
me: No babe, i was just playing. haha, got ya!
her: b.s mother f'er, i'm going to your house right now!
me: but....it's like 8am!
her: (hangs up)
me: oh sh*t........

when she came over I hugged her at the door before she could open her mouth. I said 'oh babe, i love you sooooooooooooooooooooo much!' and it kinda went ok after that. Actually it took a bit of warming her up to make it cool!lol
