Edited to add: I just read your other question regarding your wife's citizenship. It might be difficult for her to qualify for some programs if she is not a citizen. It might help to talk directly to a case worker and find out what your options are.

No insurance will take someone that is already pregnant. Usually they need to have insurance w/ maternity coverage for up to a year before they become pregnant. Either see if she can get Medicaid for pregnant women (they cover EVERYTHING) or talk to the hospital and see if they have some sort of "community funding program" that will help with the bill from the hospital. Most of the time the actual doctor visits are not covered. You can also see if there is a pregnancy crisis center like Open Arms or something they usually do free ultra sounds...good luck!

Are either of you working? If not seek out Public AID You may qualify for public assistance, when doing so you can get signed up for WIC as well for the nutrion that is needed.
If you don't meet the criteria for public Aid assistance then you'll need to be setting $$$ aside to help with the bills that happen. Normally you can make a payment arrangement of some kind with the hospital and your physician. Normal delivery out the door shouldn't run you more than $10,000.00.
I wouldn't even consider Bankruptcy. With the new BK laws you may not even qualify for that and might end up paying for it anyway thru a trustee with a CHAPTER 13.
You both should've thought about the financial end of this before you had SEX with out being covered by birth control.

Try finding a midwife that will come to your house but make sure the person is well-qualified and would be able to help the baby and your wife if any emergency occurs. This will at least keep you from having to pay the hospital expenses.

check with the state's medicaid program. Some hospitals have funds available to people who have low incomes to help them pay for the bill. You can call the administrative department at your hospital to see if there is a fund available.

Depends on your income most states give pregnant women a medical card to ensure prenatal care is given. If income is too high try your local health dept, generally free or based on income care is given by midwifes.

there are lots of government assistance programs, WIC is a good one that your wife can get on now during the pregnancy and continue on once the baby is born. Go to your local department of workforce services, they should be able to guide you to whatever you need to do.
