anyway...it can range from 2k to 3k for the average graduate.
it all depends on your luck & timing in the job application process.

forget the news of the 10k starting salary of that particular NTU graduate. 99.99% of individuals will never be that lucky.

its even worse if you're a polytechnic graduate.

the govt might lead you to think you're one-up on the ITE or O/A level diploma holder...but truly there are hundreds of thousands of degree holders who are going nowhere in their career...who will still be ahead of you.

the day of the typical 8-6 job is over!

It depends on what you're doing. If you're a general degree holder, about $2k up would be right. Lawyers, doctors and others may draw significantly higher starting salary.
