There is a big problem with Yahoo! messenger today. Nobody is able to sign in. it seems there is a problem at the source. I've been trying (and i am doing so currently) but its not signing in!!!

You need to set up the proxy server, copy the setup in you browser (IE). Or if your connection is via Company Network or local area network, there must be a firewall that prevents you to connect your yahoo messenger to your account.

You need to log into your mesenger after net connection....You can then choose an option to have it load automatically when u connect.
OOOPS I too can't log in. Had this happen yesterday too for a while..Lucky this Answers site will feed one of my addictions while I can't chat LOL

did you enterd user name and password and ti " automaticaly sign in " ?
if yes ... maybe you need some proxy setting to sign in.
if there is a firewall between you and internet ;)

all ppl now have the same problem and i have this problem from 1 day ago, maybe yahoo servers is busy now.
