I want to know if you can become 'addicted' to a movie(like obsessed.)?

I'm addicted to Ladder 49, I have the DVD,I have it downloaded on my cpu, I have the soundtrack, I have like 50 Ladder 49 pics on my cpu and I always watch it as soon as it gets over I play it again so yes you can be addicted to a movie

Absolutely, I have a friend that finally gave in to his schitzophrenia after watching the movie The Game. He believes he is in the movie and the whole world is involved with a conspiracy theory. If a person has a tendancy to be obsessive compulsive or paranoid, becoming obsessed with a fictional situation is very likely.

Absolutely - I had friends who were totally obsessed with Star Wars when it came out in the 70s. Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring had the same people - and lets not forget Star Trek (Check out Trekkies and Trekkies 2 - 2 terrific documentaries about obsessed Star Trek fans).
Ive also known people who were obsessed with Scarface - and in fact theres a lot of underworld types who think Tony Montana is the perfect role model!

Alot of people do that and the scariest thing.... Sometimes people start living out the lives of their favourate caracters!!!!!
It normally occurs when people have a very low self asteem, they feel thet the "movie caracters" life is cooler and they kinda steel the identity, hoping to reep the same kind of public reaction as the movie. Carefull.... could get both physically and imotionally dengerouse!!!

Only for a week or ten days after you have watched the movie..then u will get back to normal...

There are a few good movies which linge on your mind for the longest time but if u watch them over and over again even they loose their charm
