the only reason i can think of y he is not playing walcott is that he doesn't want any of the other big teams to see how good he is. i think u wants to use him as a surprise weapon so if eng play portugal in the quater finals and eng are a goal down he will prob put walcott on

I really can't see them staying in Germany for much longer. I would say most of their players are all good individual players in their own rights but !!!Do not work well enough in a team. I also don't see why there is any need to have the Captain there simply so that he can take free kicks or corner kicks! He doesn't do anything else. Now i might be old fashioned but my idea is that every players should know and be trusted to do that!

Finally the Wayne Rooney controversy? He reminds me more and more of Roy Keane, another drama queen i can't stand either. No matter how frustrated he gfelt being replaced by Stephen Gerard (Who saved his team a Swedish goal before scoring one himself) He shouldn't act like a prat by thunping the glass roof, throwing his shoes etc. What a bad example this is for young fans!

Then ... I really don't think the manager knows what to do/not do! I'd have sacked him a lot time ago myself//
Finally! Am i the only one thingking Beckham's blue boots look a bit ridiculous?

Who should play in the Ecuador game? Well i would keep Gerard because he's done so well, bring Rooney on (Need s striker) and keep beckham on the bench because he's not playing!

First half was promosing, Joe Cole was outstanding, Your correct in that Sven does seem to be making little sense in his tactics but you have to remember we are through top of the table! A good team wins any match wether they play bad or not, Owen Hargreves had his best match in my opinion, he made some great challenges! All i would say is that I hope he doesnt play 5 in Midfield as were are awful in this situation, better would be to play Walcott as other wise what is the point bringing him. i cant understand why he didnt play last night? Time will tell, i imagine he will be forced to put him on, as he short on strikers!

I envisioned India to atleast score three hundred this time on an ironed pitch, if no longer chase it down. 2 issues shocked me: a million. Why the hell became Shami Ahmed dropped? He became so superb antagonistic to Pakistan. Why did not he get yet another danger? 2. Why did Ishant get to bowl hos finished quota? once you've chosen Dinda, then use his death bowling qualifications. Why to waste it? Even in the present day he became bowling brilliantly on the death and took 2 key wickets. and then became taken off the attack. Ishant already went for plenty and also wicketless. would properly be he's Dhoni's wide-spread bowler. Batting wise all proper order batsmen from both the communities were given runs except Kohli whose adverse variety is unquestionably nerve-racking. yet, i believe that he will come decrease back quickly with a bang. do not comprehend why, yet I felt that in the first 2 checks in Australia very last time too and he did not disappoint then. he received't now. IMO, it became Dhoni's adverse decision to provide Ishant the ball contained in the death overs. obviously, even Raina would have executed more effective positive than that. those very last 2 overs of britain's innings from which 38 runs were scored determined the destiny of the tournament. yet those are the small blunders through the fighters which impacts the effect. BQ: I guess Dhoni did not assume that Patel blitz. classic case of underestimation of fighters through India once back. I had said that India can in undemanding words win of they don't underestimate England and stay on the floor. they did not. the effect is previously us. Dhoni has lost his attacking frame of mind and has a more effective protecting one in recent times which isn't worthwhile frequently. That old & ambitious Dhoni is lost. Regards.

they were a lot better against Sweden than when they played against Paraguay and T&T, but they still weren't good enough. i was hoping to see the Owen-Rooney combination. i hope Owen gets better soon. i have no idea why they decided to let Hargreaves play... he was a complete waste. they should have let walcott play. i'd also like to see Lennon play. and why was Gerrard a substitute? he should have been in the game from the beginning. and what's with Lampard? why is he unable to score a goal when he as so many opportunities? England really need to work on their defence. it was really poor, they had no idea what to do when Sweden were given corners. if Beckham doesn't start performing soon, they should keep him on the bench.

I agree with you about not playing walcott, surely he could have rested some ' stars '. - Owen for example ! As for the game, at least they held their own, only just mind. On the plus side - what a goal from Ashely Cole - pure class !! pick that one out !

well we are stuffed without Owen, and now he is injured Sven has to answer his critics as to why he took 4 attackers instead of 5 and why 1 of them has no experience, we will beat Ecuador but wont get passed following round, unless we play like other teams and cheat, as for last nights game we were real bad, cant defend set plays, did look good on counter attck though, i thought Hargreaves played well and so did Jo cole, rest of team were ok but nothing special, Rooney will pick up but even he cant win it for us

I really want England to win the world cup but after last nights performance, i dont think we have a chance, if we cant beat sweden, we have no chance against the Germans.
