no, it's not limited, if it'll fit on your hard drive, it'll go on your desktop. although i dont recommend saving anything to your desktop unless it's temporary.

Desktop is a folder in C drive and there are other folders in C drive too. There is not limitation.

your desktop is just another part of your drive C. if your hard disk is partitioned, desktop will only take as much as the drive C has.

The largest single file you can have is 16TB (NTFS) or 2TB (Fat 32)
The number of files is 2^32 for NTFS and 2^22 for fat32, or 4,294,967,295 and 4,194,304
