unfortunately there is no one simple solution to keep out Spams. There are a few thinsg u can do.

1. Do not give your email away freely on the website.
2. Use filters in your email client to filter out spams from your Inbox.
3. Find the unsubscribe link on the spam mail and unsubscribe.
4. If you are at work, inform your IT administrator

You need to analyze the header info in the emails to determine what ISP the mail came from so that you can complain. for instance an email from mandy@sex4u.com may have actually originated from comcast.net. In this example, you would want to forward the email with all the header information to abuse@comcast.net.
Almost every ISP has an abuse@ email address.
The other thing is to simply be very careful what you sign your email address to. You should make one email for signing up forstuff online, and one for just family and friends.
Trhough careful management, I have several email addresses that never get spammed, and one that gets a couple hundred spam a day. Mostly it's a matter of common sense.

Also, be VERY WARY of unsolicited emails win UNSUBSCRIBE buttons. Many of these are just trying random word email addresses on popular ISPs...and when you click UNSUBSCRIBE, you are in fact verifying that your email address is valid and active! Not that ALL unsubscribes do that, but there are many which that is their only function.

Each of the proper free emails which you use like yahoo and hotmail and gmail, all of them have tie ups with various advertising firms in order so that they get the money to keep your their services free, so when you sign up for these, each of them have their own partners which advertise on their sites, so that you see the small ids your inbox page, but some companies sent unsolicited emails which you call it as spam, so the programmers of the email departments try not to block this address incase you have signed up for them, and so they deliver the email to your bulk or junk or whatever is the folder for spam, how ever with yahoo and hotmail, if you see that a company is sending you emails again and again even if you have labelled them as spam, then go to setting and click on "block address" and so the programmers will block that particular address, this is the best you can do.

unfortunately many sites that get your email address SELL it to others to keep their costs down.. and to make money.. so you need to know the privacy policy of the people you give out your email address to....

have multiple email addresses.. one for "junk" sites where you need to give an email address to register.. nobody says you need to check your email every day.. and you can just delete most of it anyway.

if your friends keep sending you stuff that is sent from a "email this to a friend" site... and you get spam from it.. tell that friend to STOP spamming you!!.. then give them your new email address.. (the one for junk mail only)... and cross them off your Christmas card list.

Simply open another e-mail account with yahoo and let your friends know your new address...and tell them to never submit your new address to any contest ect. for you. When you yourself..submits your e-mail for online sites...like contests or whatever...give them your old email address...check your old e-mail about once every 2 weeks and enjoy your new e-mail address daily.

Good Luck
