bcoz most of cricket lover r from india ,pakistan ,bangladesh,srilanka which r poor backward countries ..and u know that cricket is long game about 8 hrs...they ppl dont have anything to do so good timepass n fun for them and also these ppl cant participate in world cup football so atleast sumthing for them to cheer bout ...
