At E3 2006 the main question was will the Sony PlayStation 3 deliver Ques what it did not....The Sony PS3 was a huge disappointment for fans and the GAME INDUSTRY!!!!
So your question is will it be worth it? well from what i saw and played the Sony PlayStation 3 is not worth the investment at all!!!! News for all you Sony Fan Boys "Kutaragi"is playing you guys Like PUPPETS!!!!!.....

i personally wouldnt pay $800 for a gaming system... but i do own a Playstation and thought it was expensive for $100 but i also bought the PS2 for $300 when i said i wouldnt buy it for that price... i think there will be many consumers purchasing the $800 system when it is released... the technology would be way more advance than that of a xbox360.

For one thing the PS3 is $600 for the 60GB an $500 for the 20GB NOT!! $800 I would wait for it to come down in price. I personally like the PS3 better.

ps3 aint worth a dime going up against the king 360 money buys things in this world and microsoft has more than every ceo and worker in the sony company will ever have in there lifetime.bill gates is the richest man in the world and microsoft is his company he could hire nasa to build the future xbox if he wanted to.so all you sony fans out there keep dreaming or crying cause its all about the mighty dollar.

If PS3 hang on this high price. It will surely loose the market. However, If it can reduce the cost on the cell or other hardware. It still has the chance to win the battle against Xbox360.

PS3 is not 800 dollars. There are to things 20gb 499.99 and 60gb 599.99. I think it is worth it.

$800.00 is not the price. Two stages 499.99 & 599.99. The price is worth it. You get blue ray HD technology and the best graphics possible for games and online capabilty.
