follow these steps:

1. take oral saline
2. take 'charcoal' tablet once in 4-6 hrs
3. take rest

oral saline: put 1/2 table spoon of salt & 2 table spoon of sugar in a glass of water (500ml), mix well and drink. Take atleast 2-3 glasses of oral saline after each time you go to toilet... once you become little better.. see a doctor soon

Has this just happened? If so you could be reacting to a tummy bug or change in your usual diets, overtaking colas/alcohol etc. In which case, watch what you are eating/drinking and make sure to drink plenty of mineral (Flat) water to avoid dehydration.

If this is an ongoing problem then i would suggest you got a check up because i've seen too many people resort to quick fix (Imodium is one of them) in the hope that the problem would go away, find temporarily relief while something more sinister was developing elsewhere. If it was left to doctors/nurses ... Imodium and Gaviscon would be given on prescription only. They are fine as long as you only use them once in a blue moon but not to take regularly.

Best wishes

Oh, this is a problem, isn't it?
You need to experiment with different foods before you go out on a run. I find it best to eat about an hour before I head out. I would slow down if I start having abd cramping and run a course that has restrooms available until I get it figured out.

Go buy some immodium, pepto bismol or something from the drug store and keep drinking water or gatorade (is the best).
