When she brags that she gives one-third of her exorbitant income as a movie star to charity, why does she overlook the fact that the taxpayers in the United States of America contribute 22% of the annual U.N. budget? By transferring her loyalty to the United Nations, and trashing her own country, has she become the next Jane Fonda, who aided our enemies during the Vietnam War? Has her role as goodwill ambassador for the Office of the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) gone to her head? Will we see her next in Iraq helping insurgents plant I.E.D.'s by roadsides to kill our soldiers? At the same time, she has offered no sympathy whatsoever to the families of our two kidnapped soldiers in Iraq who were tortured, gutted like fish with their toes chopped off, and beheaded.

Freedom of Speech (or what is left of it) exists in America only because over 1,000,000 brave men and women gave their lives in combat from 1775 to the present day. U.S. National Park Service data indicates that 1,263,518 service men and women died from 1775 through the Vietnam era in the 1970's. These figures do not include casualties from the War on Terror. Freedom of Speech, to which you so casually refer, was bought with the life's blood of these men and women.

Don't forget, she's an actress (a very good one), she's not really a diplomat or a politician, she sees poorer people needing more help than those in her own country and can't help helping them, I'm sure the orphans and other kids in childrens homes in the USA aren't put behind bars, left in their own waste and are fed regularly in a clean environment, I think that's probably why Ms. Jolie decided to do that.

How do you know if she does or does not feel for the families of our killed soldiers? Just because the media didn't cover it? Don't go assuming everything you hear in the media happens as such, and whatever you don't see/hear coverage of is non-existent?
I feel for ALL the families of our killed soliders. My husband is in the Army and has already been down there. It is only a question of time when he has to go again. However, I don't hate anybody going out of their way to do good for others that are poor and underpriviledged. Even if they are not American. So what is sooo horrible about what she does? What have you done lately for the good of others? How many super rich do we have in this country that hord their money and rather spend it on useless car or bling collections. They should follow her example.
You are aware, that you lost all credibility when you went as far as saying she would build IED's for the insurgency in Iraq next?

Although I don't really care for the usefulness of the UN... when did it become 'the enemy'

What she does with her money is her business.

Get over the Jane Fonda thing already.

The last part is beyond comment, but I'm sure she is appalled as the rest of us by the barbaric behavior in many parts of the world.
