If you post a question then it would get little responce. Also it would depend on which country you want repleys from. Many questions good for the UK would not be so good for the USA. Eg What do you think of Tony Blair?

The previous answerers are correct in saying that a lot of the world's population is in Asia, so that would be when the majority of people would be asleep.

However, I suspect that if you were looking at the number of people who have access to the internet on a regular basis, then most of those would be based in North America, Europe and South-East Asia - so you would get a better chance of having an answer if you were to pick a time when those people were awake and on-line.

If you assume that people need eight hours sleep in order to operate properly, then this means at any one time, 1/3rd of the Earth's land surface will be asleep. However as population centres change (for instance the expansion of India and the like) then that will shift the timezones of operation. At the moment, the time when most of the world will be asleep is between 0000 GMT and 0800 GMT (when Europe and Africa is asleep, the Far East is starting it's day and America is starting to go to bed)

When it is night in China, Japan, and India, since they have the largest populations, put together!

And, by the way Tony Blair is a good Prime Minister, although I live in the U.S., he is very sportive, and nice.

I guess most of us are asleep between 2:30 am to 4:30 am in their respective country, no matter what time the person slept ie at 9:30pm /10:30pm / 12:30am or 2am. I guess its universal snooze time.
I dont mind if corrected.
