Their are several things to do. Add free related content. Go to goarticles.com and other places for that. Then do a press release at prweb.com. Then youll need to make sure youre submitted to every searchengine. You can do ppc at smaller places to save cash, or try putting an ad on adbrite.com. Also, there are places that will get the traffic to you, it is not the best targeted, but if you have a good sales or home page, you can land em. Also write articles about your site and place them in every article directory, also, try forums - this is a great place for targeted visitors, and make sure you place a link in the signature block.

Well, for starters, do you know how many people visit Yahoo! Answers in a 24 hour period? Why don't you try asking the question, "Has anyone ever checked out my website 'www.----------.com?" The first thing I thought of when I read your question was, "Hmmm... I wonder what their website is?" Also, remember, when people are looking for a certain subject, they just enter in their keywords of the subject they are searching into their search engine, so instead of just using the same words over and over again; ex. Timeshare; look up the word 'Timeshare' in the thesaurus and use those words as well. The more variety that you have in your vocabulary on your website, the more results that you will have. Not everyone puts in only the word Timeshare into their search engine, they may use other words as well... also, the layout of a very "cheap" and poorly constructed website turns me off very quickly... Good luck!!!

Try writing articles about time shares and related subjects. Submit them to article directories and ezines on that subject.
Build a content rich site about time shares and related subjects and get a top ranking in the search engines.

find out what your potential customer would be thinking when they look for your site
find out what words they use to look for your site in search engines
trade link with similarly themed sites, this will boost your rank on search engines over time, as well as providing unexpected minor flow of visitor
basically, it all boils down to exposure. put links to your site everywhere you can, but only in related sites.

To should have a CONTEST to draw people in, many websites do this. they give away cash and prizes and makes people come back over and over.
I belong to several websites i enter and i come back daily.
Its really the best way to go, trust me!!!

some porn on the site server would help.
it doesn't have to be visible on your website, but spiders will index your site along with the porn
