You have to stay away from soft cheese, raw egg, mayo etc and things like patte. Eat lots of iron rich foods loads of fruit and veg and make sure you are taking folic acid. Just wear what you feel comfortable in good luck x

Foods to avoid really depend on the person. I had a lot of spicy foods during the pregnancy and they didn't bother me until my last trimester and then I had awful heartburn so I stayed away from spicy. I also stayed away from Italian food and garlic. Maternity clothes are great and you will get used to wearing them. Oversized clothes will just make you look big. Maternity clothes are made for your belly. There are plenty of places to look at clothes online. For cheaper maternity clothes, Target has a decent selection. If you are a working mom and need nice work clothes, Target won't work but bella maternity has some really nice stuff. Best wishes!!!

i don't know that there is anything you should avoid....with me it was just a natural disgust for certain foods while i was pregnant....with my first i hated eggs. my second tuna fish. your OBGYN might suggest you stay away from large amounts of coffee or soda, and of course don't drink alcohol.
as for clothes...i enjoyed the clothes Old Navy carried. the pants waistlines were under the belly instead of OVER the top of your stomach, so i didn't feel like i was wearing grandma pants!
they even have maternity thongs! lol
good luck!!
