I use an anti-virus program that costs nothing at all. It's called ClamWin and is available from:
www.sourceforge.net

Go to the web sites where you are interested in the particular software, such as Norton (not a choice I would go for though), McAfee, and Avast are just a few. You can put the verbage of Anti-virus software into google and I'm sure there'll be several choices. Avast is free by the way, and detects more viruses than Norton; as well as can work dually with McAfee.
