Depends on your motives. If it's truly a computer problem, then open the tower or desktop up and find the place where you can remove the piece connecting where the password is located. If you're wanting to go in and check the bios, then F8 during bootup.

If BIOS Password, you take out the bios battery.
If password on windows login screen, you can press : Ctrl + Alt + Del 2 times, you type username : administrator, password (none, dont press anymore) => Ok, If when u install Windows, you dont set up password for administrator account => U'r lucky! ^^.

Just ask the person for the password.

You shouldn't be accessing the computer if someone deliberately add a password to restrict you from doing so anyway.

if its the CMOS password, just take the case off and reset the BIOS with the jumper, or by removing the BIOS battery for 5 seconds and putting it back in.
