Well, mostly it depends on whether or not you are good friends. One rule is never get too mushy about it. If you already talk to her a lot, just ask her!! I know it sounds really scary, but, believe me, all nice, normal girls would much rather have you just come out and say it. If she rejects you, at least you tried. It is much better to be sure than to wonder forever.
If you aren't already friends with her, try to get to know her better. How much stuff do you have in common? If you still like her when you are better friends, ask her (see above)!

First you shouLD aLways get to know what she likes and what goes in her head(ask her friends or something),give her some hints that you LIke her,and then theres aLways the smiLe and LOOk away thing thst works aLsmost aLl The time,be nice and hEpLfuL,and then after when shes noticed you ..start making it pretty obvious!!

First off- be bold but be sweet & polite. don't get a friend to do whatever you want to ask her, it shows you're too scared to show your emotions. Buy her flowers, or her favorite book/movie, something sweet and simple. approach her gebtly, and be yourself. tell he rhow you feel and ask her out- maybe to pizza, or somethign you KNOW she likes doing. Overcoming your shyness will show you care and I'm sure she will appreciate you taking time and energy to do something you wouldn't normally do for her. Girls like this stuff- but remember to be mannerful, no chessy pickup lines, no sex-related comments, polite. but sweet- don't be scared!
