I'm a undergradute students majoring in English looking for a short/summer course schoolarship in UK and maybe for future postgraduate.

yr local british council will provide you info on what kind of scholarships are open to you,based on yr ethnic background,course etc, you have the British Chevening scholarships ,scholarships to students from certain countries etc. ruling the kitty....the key step is when you make your application,the sooner( around 6-8 months in advance) will better your chances of securing one , rather than websites,a first hand personnel will deliver you whats hot......so get rendezvous with the British Council RIGHT NOW!!

There is no possible way to answer that because it all depends on how long it takes you, you have the choice in college to go all year round or just two semesters a year. Some classes may be offered, that you need, in the spring while others are only offered in the fall. A masters is suppose to take 6 years while a PhD will take you atleast 8. The first thing you need to do is find a school that you like start there. I am in college now working toward a BS degree, than maybe a masters. I only take 12 credit hours a semester and I do not attend minimesters. It is taking me longer but it is at my pace. Do what you think you will like and go from there.

Your local library will probably have handbooks with details of awards and scholarships. Your careers service at university may also be worth checking out.

you need to go on the AHRB- arts and humanities research board website- www.ahrb.co.uk other than that i'd contact the universities you're applying to directly
