I agree with you 100% here two wrongs do not ever make a right. It only causes more pain and problems in a marriage. If someone does something wrong they need to work it out and get marriage counseling and do the right thing. Revenge and doing wrong back to that person is destructive and destroys what marriage and relationship they have down the road and it does not heal and help you get past things. Forgiveness is the key and the right thing to do and it is a big part of healing from what has happened to you in the past. You respect yourself and do not cheat back and do the right thing and forgive him and go on with your life. I am so thankful that you have a different mindset then most people out there. We should all think and learn something from you and listen to what you have to say. No God help them!!!! They are the ones that need it. You are doing what God would want you to do in this situation. There should be more people like you out there. My wife is like you are and she is wonderful and forgiving.

Stick to your instincts. You know nothing good comes from cheating, and I agree.
I don't know if you're question is a general one or specific to your relationship...personally, I have a zero-tolerance rule for cheating; if you are not interesting in staying with me, then I am not with you. However, he did do it BEFORE you got married, so that isn't quite so bad..you can't change the past. Wake up fresh next morning and see where you are at, and see what you can do to make your marriage better, not worse.
People say and think a lot of things. Often, they don't even mean what they say, they are just testing ideas.. Don't be anything but positive, and don't ever let negative ideas or negative people take away your happiness.

God bless you. No two wrongs do NOT make a right. As long as you forgave him and then made a commitment to him, do not lower yourself. If it before the marriage, let it go. If he is doing it now, get out. There ARE men out there that don't cheat. Finding them is the hard part.

I agree with you. Two wrongs don't make a right. Sometimes they even complicate things further. Stand strong and respect yourself. You go, girl!
