I believe that relationships are built upon many things but communication is among the most important. With any relationship there are expectations on each persons part and both need to know what expectations each other has about their relationship. Honesty is also very important as it demonstrates respect for that person and respect of each other is also very important.

Successful relationships of all kinds are composed of:
1-Passion
2-Commitment
3-Intimacy
These 3 areas can be discussed at length and not everyone can give all 3 areas and not everyone needs all three. It is said that you need compatibility on at least 2 out of 3. Relationship building is a skill that can be learned.
